    This includes your Enrolment Information and Evidence of ID upload)

  3. FINAL STEP: Attend and complete the Practical Skills & Testing Day.

    COURSE TYPES

    1. Boat Licence with PWC (Personal Water Craft) Endorsement
    2. PWC Endorsement only (must already have Boat Licence)


    IMPORTANT NOTE
    NOTE FOR PWC ONLY ENDORSEMENT CANDIDATES
    Do NOT book both the “Boat Licence & PWC Course” (eg: as a refresher) if you already have a Boat Licence. Book the “PWC Only” course.
    MAST will not be able to process your application if this occurs & delays will occur. “PWC Only” course participants will receive the Boat + PWC course as a refresher..

    DISCOUNTS

    1. Provisional Licence is for people aged 12-16yo. It is discounted at $20.00.

Complete enrolment

Check you have completed the following steps:

 

You will not have completed enrolment until you have completed these steps.

  1. Contact AquaCraft to discuss the next course date/time. Phone 0407 532 380 after 4.30pm.

  2. Select a course from the options (dates & venues) above. To select PWC Only you must already have a Boat Licence.
    Be aware that:

    • 12-16yo a provisional licence only is issued. An adult must be present at the course (land and water) to supervise them. A supervisor must be with them when ever they ride until their full licence is achieved at 17yo.

    • 17yo+ is a full licence.

    • Note: If you wish to book a private course OR would like to request a course on a specific date, please contact us via email to book. Include details of preferred dates, location and number in the group.

  3. Add to Cart to make payment via STRIPE..

  4. Complete the Online Theory - Practice Assessment.
    Your Enrolment Form is incorporated into your practice test, along with Evidence of Identification.

    • Select only one form of assessment: either the Boat & PWC Assessment OR the PWC only assessment.
      You do not need to complete both unless you want to test your skills further. You can submit the test up to 3 times.

    • If you have any questions these can be asked at the training day and the assessment resubmitted on the following day.

    • All the answers are in the Tasmanian Safe Boating Handbook.

    • The PWC Video on the MAST website also has answers to key questions.

  5. Attend the Practical Skills & Theory Assessment Day you have booked.

    • Ensure you bring the things on the “What to Bring” list.

    • Provide your own Jetski to complete the practical course. Or enquire if shared use of AquaCraft’s PWC is available.

Once you have completed all of the above steps satisfactorily:

  • AquaCraft will submit the information to MAST.

  • You will receive an email from MAST/Service Tasmania within 2-5 working days. Check your junk mail regularly for this email.

  • Take the approval information into Service Tasmania to pay for your Boat Licence &/or PWC Endorsement

    Payment:

    • We accept online payment via credit card via a secure Stripe account.

To Book a Private Course

  • We can provide a Private Course at your choice of location (within reason).

  • The location must be safe and appropriate. Additional venue hire and travel fee costs may apply.

  • Please phone or email us (via contact us) to discuss and agree this at the time of booking.
    We aim to provide 1 trainer for every 8-10 people. A maximum of 16 people applies.
